KAEFER’s Test Laboratories

The KAEFER cli­matic cham­ber.

The KAEFER test labor­at­ory has an ex­cep­tional range of equip­ment at its dis­posal, in­clud­ing a walk-in cli­matic cham­ber for ex­ample. A tem­per­at­ure range go­ing as low as -70°C is a unique fea­ture in this 15m³ cham­ber.

A fur­ther ad­vant­age of the KAEFER sys­tem is its abil­ity to sim­u­late tem­per­at­ure, air hu­mid­ity and in­ternal pres­sure of samples sim­ul­tan­eously. This com­bin­a­tion was only made pos­sible by fit­ting the cli­matic cham­ber with fur­ther devices put to­gether and con­figured by KAEFER en­gin­eers.

The cli­matic cham­ber al­lows us to test sev­eral samples sim­ul­tan­eously if ne­ces­sary. It can main­tain am­bi­ent con­di­tions con­stant or vary them in tem­per­at­ure and hu­mid­ity as re­quired over any de­sired period of time.

The cli­matic cham­ber can also per­form shock tests with tem­per­at­ure drops of up to 100 K within 10 minutes. All test para­met­ers and res­ults are re­cor­ded and stored in di­gital form. All meas­ure­ments are per­formed us­ing sensors cal­ib­rated by ac­cred­ited labor­at­or­ies, guar­an­tee­ing ex­treme ac­cur­acy.

For tests of smal­ler ob­jects even con­stant cli­matic cab­in­ets are avail­able.

Test stand­ards

In the area of en­vir­on­mental sim­u­la­tion, we can cover a wide range of tests. Ad­di­tion­ally changes in tem­per­at­ure of up to 10K/​min are achiev­able.
